I am not against mass production, I am against how it is executed. Mass production now is mainly focust on producing as much as possible for as little money. This way of producing is bad for the environment, you create a lot of waste, pollution and global warming. If you produce differently you can mass produce without being bad for the environment.

I am pro company, ikea their vission is to create a better everyday life for the many people. They are very inclusive and that is important for me. An other thing that is important for me is sustainability, they are not the most sustainable but are still improving.

I made a chair witch changes with you when you get older. This way you don't need to buy a new chair, but you can reassemble it. To assemble the pieces together you have to thread the robe though the holes. Because you don't need any tools to put it together, it is accessible for everyone. If you need to move or your not using the chair, you can take it apart and store it really flat.

If you want to change the look of the chair you can change the collar of the thread or the cushion. You can buy these new at the store, but there is also a website were you can trade the robes or cushions with other people.

This chair is sustainable, inclusive, and flat packed(so easy to store). But also very playful. You can make your own designs and play around.

My target group is for all ages, since it changes with you. But especially for parents who buy this chair for their kids.

The robes and cushions are available in 6 different colours. These colours are from my colour research. By combining two of the colours you can play with creating optical illusions and bring more dimensions in the chair.
